‘TOGETHER’ is a reflection on the theme of building unity and acceptance. Not many know this but the use of colour in my pieces is also a way for me to reconcile how I feel with the world.

Each element in this piece was carefully chosen to tell this story of diversity, of uplifting communities and building connections together. From the technicolor pride doves and trans coloured flowers (a subtle nod to how in Singapore we don’t paint pride flags in murals) to the honeycomb pattern symbolising community building to colourful bouquets of flowers symbolising diversity. In order to grow together, we must embrace and uplift the different communities.

Fun fact: My piece (first text based one in a long while) was created to go hand in hand with Georgia Hill’s who was on the other end of this stretch.
