'Becoming’ is part of Lo’s ongoing Pride mural series exploring gender, identity, and belonging.

Responding to increasing restrictions on gender-affirming care and the continued politicisation of trans lives, the work reflects on visibility, care, and collective resilience. Inspired by the way birds perceive a broader spectrum of colour than humans, the mural becomes a metaphor for recognising the beauty and complexity of identities beyond dominant ways of seeing.

Becoming is ultimately an affirmation that every person deserves to exist authentically, with dignity, care, and love.
