Rather than predicting what lies ahead, Futures imagine alternative ways of living, exchanging and relating to one another.

Across projects exploring environmental responsibility, speculative worlds, immersive experiences and alternative economies, the work considers how different futures might emerge by rethinking the assumptions that organise contemporary society. Environmental narratives sit alongside imagined landscapes, while experiments such as barter markets explore value beyond ownership and monetary exchange.

Whether through sculpture, installation, public projects or participatory initiatives, these works share an interest in possibility. They examine the relationship between imagination and action, proposing that the future is constructed not only through technology or innovation, but through the stories we choose to tell, the systems we choose to maintain and the alternatives we are willing to imagine.

The investigation asks what becomes possible when existing structures are treated not as inevitabilities, but as starting points for something else.
